I.Sharov informed the audience of the situation concerning national minorities in Ukraine, especially, the Crimean Tatars. At present the Committee is elaborating the concept of State ethnic and national policy and a new version of the Law "On National Minorities". I.Sharov also deems necessary to boost activity of public authority in Ukraine aimed at comprehensive protection of human rights and national minorities.
The Parties expressed their interest in further cooperation between Ukrainian legislators and relevant OSCE bodies in charge of protection of national minorities´ rights.
